The work we take on

A small workshop, so we keep to the jobs we do well — domestic plumbing, heating and bathrooms, from a dripping valve to a full second-floor re-pipe.

Leaks & dripping taps

Tracing the source before opening anything up, then replacing the failed washer, valve or section of pipe rather than the whole run.

Blocked drains

Sinks, showers and outside gullies cleared mechanically, with a look at why it blocked so the same thing is less likely next winter.

Hot water & cylinders

Poor pressure, lukewarm runs and noisy cylinders diagnosed, plus replacement immersions, valves and expansion vessels.

Bathroom fit-outs

First fix to final seal: soil connections, concealed pipework, tiling coordination and a set of fittings that line up properly.

Radiators & heating

Cold spots flushed out, valves swapped, systems balanced and radiators moved or added where a room never quite warms up.

Yearly maintenance

A booked visit for landlords and busy households: stopcocks, seals, traps and pressures checked and written up in plain language.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

Most people put off calling a plumber because they do not know what it will cost. This is the whole process from the form to the finished job.

  1. Tell us what is happening

    Send the enquiry form with a short description. If a photo of the leak or the fitting helps, mention it and we will ask for one when we reply.

  2. A visit and a written price

    We look at the job in person, explain the options where there is more than one, and send a fixed figure covering parts, labour and making good.

  3. The work, done tidily

    Booked for a date that suits you. We protect the floors, test everything in front of you, and take the packaging and old parts away.

Workmanship

Finished, not just working

A joint that holds is the minimum. What takes the extra hour is the part you look at every morning — level fittings, clean silicone and pipework that was thought about before it was cut.

Our standards

  • Isolation valves fitted wherever we work, so the next repair does not need the whole house drained.
  • Pipe runs clipped at proper centres — no rattling behind a panel six months later.
  • Silicone tooled in one pass and left to cure before the space goes back into use.
  • Old parts kept for you to see, then taken away with the rest of the waste.

Before you get in touch

How is the price worked out?

Per job, not per hour. After the visit you get one figure covering parts, labour, waste removal and making good. It only changes if you ask for extra work, and we confirm that in writing first.

Do you charge for the first visit?

Not for quoting. If you would rather we simply fixed the problem on that visit, we will tell you the price before starting and you decide on the spot.

What does the guarantee cover?

Two years on the parts we supply and the labour we carry out. It does not cover pre-existing pipework we were not asked to replace, and we will always point that out at the quote stage.

What do you need from me on the day?

Access to the stopcock, a clear route to the work, and somewhere to park within a short carry. Everything else — tools, parts, protection and waste bags — comes with us.
